About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced individual with outstanding analytical and training expertise to join our team as a Finance Training Lead. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with identifying, controlling, coordinating, and delivering a range of specialist finance training and development programs, in conjunction with stakeholders across the department.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the strategic direction for Finance Division training programs, by ensuring Finance training objectives and deliverables are achieved, in conjunction with other departmental divisions’ objectives; this includes developing and implementing a range of strategies and processes.
  • Lead and coordinate the development and delivery of effective training sessions and resources by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify, plan, develop and monitor training needs and prioritise investment in training programs.
  • Effectively manage the Finance Division’s annual training program and schedule, and report on delivery of the schedule.
  • Lead the identification and selection of contemporary and effective training resources and materials by applying key training principles and key components, including context, purpose, outcomes, content, audience, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain training and development documents and activities, including registration of participants, venue, catering and travel requirements, communications, resources and presentations, related intranet and online content ensuring quality training outcomes are delivered within budget.
  • Design, facilitate and lead training and resource evaluation, including undertaking feedback activities, identifying and developing continuous improvement requirements for course content, materials, and exercises, and identifying customer training needs through analysis of problems, trends, and future directions.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, other relevant qualifications
  • Relevant experience in a finance environment
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO6 $97,022 - $102,626 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
