About the role
As Asset Data Analyst you will be part of the Spatial and Asset Information team and responsible for continuous improvement of Council's asset condition and performance monitoring through Asset Data visualisation and detailed analysis of infrastructure Asset Data. Your main focus will be on the comprehensive analyses of Asset Datasets.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive analysis of Asset Data including spatial and financial datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Conduct rigorous audits and validation processes on asset condition assessment and inspection datasets, to identify valuable insights on performance trends and patterns
- Collaborate and partner with Asset Data owners, custodians, and key stakeholders
- Utilise advanced capabilities in GIS, Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Power BI and Dashboards, and other contemporary software applications to dynamically report and present results from Asset Data and information analysis
- Analyse the financial performance of assets to support asset lifecycle planning, budgeting, forecasting and decision making
- Identify opportunities and state-of-art technologies for improvement in Asset Data and information management practices

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications from a recognised institution in the fields of engineering, computer science, information technology or similar associated discipline, or equivalent extensive experience

This is a permanent full-time position, Level 6 with a salary commencing at $100,533 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
