represent.The Assets and City Services Directorate is responsible for range
of services including waste management, cleansing and infrastructure, fleet
management, parks and open spaces, asset management, building maintenance and
capital works delivery.About the Role:The role will support Council in delivering
on its ambitious climate action agenda, with the target of becoming carbon
neutral by 2028.Council is undertaking a variety of energy
and emission reduction projects. This includes building management systems
(BMS), solar PV, smart lighting, electrification of gas equipment, electric
vehicle charging, battery storage and initiatives listed in Sustainable
Building Guidelines.The position will focus on improving the efficiency of buildings and assets, with a focus on smart systems data monitoring and analysis, building management system (BMS) controls optimisation, analytics systems, sustainability audits and asset commissioning.Skills, experience and certificatesA degree or
equivalent in engineering, environmental science, or related disciplines.Demonstrated experience in building services and asset managementAbility to communicate, consult and
negotiate with, and gain co-operation and assistance from a range of
stakeholders.Excellence
in Excel, data management platforms and strong proficiency in Word.Knowledge
and understanding of climate change mitigation science, policies, and
