North Sydney Council administers the North Sydney local government area on Sydney’s picturesque lower North Shore. Our 400 employees look after 77,000 residents spread across 10 square kilometres of land on the foreshores of Sydney Harbour providing spectacular harbour views, beautiful parklands and a bustling CBD.


The role

Reporting to the Service Unit Manager Capital Projects and Asset Management, The Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of Council’s Asset Management Plans to inform the recurrent maintenance, upgrade and renewal of Council’s assets and infrastructure.



How you'll make a difference

Using their technical skills and experience, the Asset Management Coordinator will coordinate the collection and analysis of data to develop and maintain Council’s Asset Management plans. The Asset Management will provide expert advice to the Capital Delivery team and Service Unit Manager for the development of Council’s capital delivery programs. This position will also play an important role in the development of Council’s Long Term Financial Plan and Resourcing Strategy.
