- Specialized installations: Construction, installation and maintenance activities for high-voltage electrical networks, telecommunications systems, air conditioning systems, mechanical and naval assembly, nuclear dismantling and the integral maintenance of all types of infrastructures, industry and building.

- Integrated Projects: Engineering, supply, construction and start-up of projects related to the conventional and renewable energy sector, oil and gas infrastructures, desalination plants, drinking water purification and drinking and/or process water purification systems, as well as urban and industrial wastewater treatment and reuse equipment.

- Concession assets: Promotion and construction of concession assets such as renewable infrastructures and transmission lines.

We are currently seeking an Asset Manager to join our team.

Day to day, the role will involve:
  • Provide front line asset management leadership to the Asset Management team;
  • Responsible for development, implementation, management and continuous improvement of the Asset Management Framework;
  • Ensure the Asset Management team works effectively and efficiently in the achievement of management performance metrics;
  • Ensure Operational Readiness milestones relating to Asset Management are achieved;
  • Contribute to detailed design development and review process, thereby ensuring that design optimises for ‘whole of life’ considerations and M&L’s specific requirements;
  • Support the General Manager with the commercial/contractual engagement of business partners supporting the Asset Management activities;
  • Manage reporting, service delivery and auditing of commercial Asset Management contracts;
  • Contribute to achievement of the Availability, Reliability, Outage Management and KPI obligations of the Network Operator Performance Regime (NOPR);
  • Ensure the Asset Management team operates in compliance with the relevant regulatory framework, Australian Standards and good industry practice;
  • Achieve targeted financial performance objectives for the Asset Management function;
  • Responsible for asset management reporting and data analytics for the M&L function.
Candidate Qualifications and Skills
  • Electrical Engineering Qualifications;
  • 10 plus years in similar roles in the industry;
  • 15 plus years in management of high voltage transmission lines and substations assets (up to 500 kV);
  • 15 plus years in integration of high voltage transmission assets with renewable energy generators;
  • Proven experience in working with a unionised workforce;
  • Experience in remote asset condition monitoring;
  • Flexible and resourceful with high levels of initiative;
  • Ability to be both strategic and hands-on;
  • The ability to build and maintain genuine working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

This position is key in the development of framework and future maintenance of the assets of the high voltage transmission system of the Central West Orana Renewable Zone and requires skills and experience with assets of this specific technical area.
