About the role:
We are currently seeking an Asset Information Officer. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for updating Councils asset management system from works as executed plans of newly constructed assets, assets mapping and validate external inspection results.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Assets/Spatial Information related discipline and/or
extensive job related experience. - Experience in asset data collection, validation and analysis.
- Previous experience with Conquest and MapInfo will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated competency in the use of spreadsheets, databases, asset registers and asset mapping software.
- Ability to achieve a high degree of accuracy in data input, capture and processing.
- Experience using Council’s record management system for searching work as executed file.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing excellent customer service and a highly developed understanding of customer service principles.
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
