Assistant Account Executive

We're partnering with an insurance broker on the NSW Central Coast to find a person with prior exposure to the general insurance industry or experience in the financial services industry.

Initially, you'll support the team leader, and as you learn the ropes and gain industry qualifications, you’ll transition to managing your own portfolio of clients. As part of the role, you'll undergo a comprehensive training program that covers everything from supporting clients to offering professional advice on a range of insurance products.

Whether you're currently working in sales, service, or claims within the insurance industry, or simply looking for a career change from a professional services environment, this is definitely worth considering.

About you

• You have exposure to general insurance products gained through financial services (such as banking) or insurance roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a natural ability to organise and plan.
• You have worked in a customer service role for a professional services business and enjoy helping people.
• You enjoy meeting and talking to new people, and growing your network.
• You have a personal preference for working in and collaborating with a team.
