Assistant Accountant

Where you will be working… This permanent full-time role is located in Brisbane CBD fringe with an award-winning venue. This opportunity is for an accurate and efficient Assistant Accountant who has the ability to multi-task at a high-level.

What you will be doing… Assisting the CFO and the finance team, your responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Manage the payroll process and file payroll reports
• Liaise with department heads and suppliers to finalise queries regarding an invoice
• Check and reconcile daily transaction reports
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in the design, implementation and monitoring of operating systems

What you need… 

• You will have a degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar and at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and analytical skills are fundamental.
• Excel skills are essential in this role.
• Expereince in Xero is highly desirable
