Our company has a strong history of innovative product development and commercialization and this position will support that into the future. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the business as part of our internal Finance team and work with Production, Logistics, and Purchasing to ensure data is processed in an accurate and timely fashion.
The position’s primary responsibilities are:
- Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Fixed asset register must be kept up to date and all GLs relating to the FAR must be reconciled
- Prepare FBT return on a yearly basis
- Assist with month end and year end
- Assist with audit enquiries at year end
- A backup to Senior Financial Accountant, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable during their absence
- Processing of credit cards through administrative system
- Prepare BAS and any other statutory reporting
The successful applicant must:
- Diploma or higher tertiary qualification in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years experience
A mining industry competitive 40 hour per week remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant.
