As Assistant Accountant you will use your accounting knowledge and your communications skills to partner with service departments within Veolia to help them make sound and well-informed business decisions. In this head office-based role, you help non-finance managers in our business manage their budgets, handle spending and project for the future. Problem solving, attention to detail and an ability to work in partnership with others across our business will be the key to your success in this role.

- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist in the preparation of monthly variance analysis for National Support Functions
- Support the Senior Accountant in the budget and re-forecast for National Support Functions
- Prepare Balance Sheet GL reconciliations
- Assist in internal and external audits
- Drive process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
- University degree (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent)
- Professional Qualified or studying towards qualification (CPA/CA)
