What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will be responsible for:
- Leading a small team to help promote a risk, Compliance and resilience conscious culture across all levels of the organisation
- Managing the development and implementation of the VEC Corporate Compliance Framework
- Providing advice in the planning, development and implementation of tools that support the organisations ongoing Compliance and corporate governance requirements
- Developing and maintaining corporate policies and procedures to ensure strong governance practice is imbedded
- Developing high quality collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What you will bring to the role
- A strong contemporary understanding of risk, governance, Compliance and resilience
- Experience in the development, review, implementation, and evaluation of policies, procedures and programs
- Proven analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to operate and influence at all levels, and have a positive impact on business outcomes and Risk culture
- High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to the VEC's core values.
