The Company
We are working closely with Global Organization located within the Lower North Shore, who are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a 12 month Contract basis. You will be working closely with the Finance Business Partner and be involved with a variety of tasks within the team - including high level of business partnering.
The Role
As the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
· Assisting with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
· Balance Sheet & PnL Reconciliations
· Month End Journal Posting
· Fixed Asset Register Maintenance
· Assisting with budgeting & forecasting
To be considered for the position
As an experienced Assistant Accountant, you will be enthusiastic, strong business partner and have the following attributes:
· Working towards CPA / CA
· Intermediate level of Excel
· Strong Verbal and Written skills
· Proven experience with Business Partnering
· Experience within the Commercial industries is essential
