The Opportunity
We have the sweetest opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the Sara Lee commercial team at an exciting stage of our story.
Our Assistant Brand Manager focuses on developing and executing the Sara Lee social media strategy across key social platforms, as well as developing database and web strategy.
The Role
- Design and implement digital and social media strategy to align with business goals
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content
- Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Develop, present, and implement effective brand strategies
- Packaging and website design to maintain up to date communications and be consistent with the look and feel of the brand.
- Assist in the development of NPD, including packaging design development
- Assist in the development of brand communication and promotional materials.
About You
This role would be suited to a recent Graduate who may have been working in a marketing function during their degree or a someone who is a couple of years into their marketing career. You will bring with you:
- 2+ years’ experience within a marketing function
- Tertiary qualifications in either Marketing, Digital Media, or Business Management
- Hands on experience in content creation and management, delivering a consistent brand message.
- Experience in working across social channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Youtube.
- Solid knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and Mail Chimp
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical skills to come up with insights to drive and influence decisions.
- Experience with project management and the ability to work in a cross -functional team.
- Eager to learn, build on ideas and explore new opportunities and skills.
- Motivated and pro-active with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to respond well to pressure and work autonomously
- Experience in FMCG and a love of food is advantageous
