Our client is seeking an Assistant Development Manager to join the team and work directly with the Senior Development Manager. Assisting with the delivery stage of one of their project, you will also be joining in on their newest acquisition of 1500 lots in Melbourne's South East. The preference is for someone to join the team who has a background in Engineering and experience in residential/land development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, site management and coordination of the production and subcontractor work
- Develop and implement the construction contract, and supervise the implementation and specific performance against the contract, including regular site inspections
- Assist in monitoring and driving sales and marketing progress and budgets internally and with builder partners
- Assist the SDM in identifying key stakeholders to each project and deliver a strategy to ensure relationships are developed and that stakeholders are engaged
Key Requirements:
- Relevant university or professional qualifications such as but not limited to Property and Real Estate, Valuation, or Business-related degrees.
- Engineering background is highly sought after!
- Proven track record and genuine interest in land or residential development within the Victorian market.
- Analytical mindset, organised approach, flexible personality, and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to engage with and build relationships with a range of stakeholders within the industry.
