Assistant Director - Forensic Audit

Do you enjoy undertaking research and analysis, using a range of analytical tools and techniques to produce quality reports?

In this position you will be part of the Forensic Audit team, conducting detailed examinations to identify vulnerabilities to, and potential indicators of, suspected fraud or misconduct in public sector entities.

The Forensic Audit team plays an important role of reviewing fraud risk management practices across public sector entities within the financial management and probity functions and providing recommendations for improvement. The Forensic Audit team may also work in consultation with other integrity agencies where further investigation is required.

You will contribute to Forensic Audits by performing examinations of financial information and assessing, combining, and analysing data and other information to support findings, inform recommendations and drafting professional reports.

We currently have one full time, permanent position available.

Permanent residency is a mandatory requirement for a permanent appointment; however, suitable fixed term appointments may be considered if the successful applicant is not a permanent resident. To meet the requirement for fixed term contract employment opportunities you must be able to provide evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

This process may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part time) within six months of the date of completion of the recruitment process.
