Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Finance this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated professional with leadership experience to gain further exposure as an Assistant Director of Finance.In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Finance in the daily operation of the Finance Department, directly overseeing and assisting Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll and Stores. This position is fixed term for 12-months.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGCompleting End of Month Reports accurately and in a timely mannerSupervising and assisting the finance team including liaising with IT support Working with Department Managers to develop effective measures to enhance their department’s profitabilityDeveloping and monitoring all financial systems for the Hotel with a view to improve and streamline proceduresContinuous review of internal controls and complianceProject Management
Qualifications
Previous leadership experience in a Hotel environment is desirable. Knowledge of SUN, Wage Easy and Opera advantageousExcellent Microsoft office skillsStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to effectively time manage large volume work load, to meet deadlines and work well under pressure situationsAbility to work in an ever changing fluid environmentAuthentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skills & be flexible in your approach to resolve issues*Must have valid working rights in Australia*
