About the RoleYou'll provide assistance with record management requirements including training and support. Records Management are responsible for supporting the agency to meet its legislative requirements for record keeping.As the
Assistant Director within Records Management, you'll manage help desk operations. Provide direction to staff and support strategic planning to lead business improvement initiatives for record management practices.
Duties- Lead help desk functions including the planning and implementation of a digital records management environment
- Lead and ensure compliance with records management legislation, processes privacy and security requirements
- Provide high level specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure positive outcomes
The successful candidate will- Think critically and analytically to solve complex and sensitive problems
- Communicate complex information in a simple, helpful way that influences the audience
- Negotiate persuasively and credibly to facilitate agreement
- Lead a collaborative team that embraces agile ways of working
What's on offerThe successful candidate will be offered an EL1 hourly rate contract. Through to 31st December 2024, with an option to extend up to a further 6months. This position is based in Greenway, ACT.As this role is with the Federal Government, only Australian citizens will be considered for this vacancy. Baseline is preferred, or willingness to obtain.
