We're currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Director with a diploma qualification and a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience to join our team at Honour Early Learning Beenleigh. Our center caters to a total of 161 children, including 30 in before and after school care and an additional 45 during vacation care sessions. With meticulously designed indoor and outdoor spaces, our center provides a holistic learning environment tailored to meet the diverse needs of all children.
About the Role
Our Assistant Directors play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team to ensure the implementation of a safe, engaging, and educational program for children on a daily basis. They also contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment, serving as mentors to fellow educators.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and empowerment to a team dedicated to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold ethical standards.
- Promote and embody the service's philosophy in all aspects of responsibilities.
- Drive the adoption of contemporary, evidence-based practices within the service.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety guidelines.
- Offer continuous support and assistance to colleagues across all aspects of service provision.
- Provide ongoing support to the Director and Management Committee.

To excel in this role, we are looking for individuals with:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards diploma) or an equivalent ACECQA approved qualification.
- Minimum 5 years Early Childhood Education and Care experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Current QLD Working with Children Check.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage positively with staff, families, and students.
