About the position:
The Assistant Foreman position will assist with leading a teamthrough the progression of civil construction and/or maintenanceworks. The position will assist the Foreman to prepare,control, and monitor a construction project or maintenance activityand undertake control and responsibility for minor construction andmaintenance activities.
- There is two (2) is is a permanent full-time position based at the Greenmount.
- The base salary for this position is $63,038.90 to $68,282.40 gross per year, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- In addition to the base wage rate, variable allowances are available (for example - on call, over time, wet weather).

How to be successful in this position:
Mandatory Qualifications, skills and orexperience
- A combination of experience, qualifications, and competence in the civil construction and maintenance field which enables the applicant to perform the duties of the position.
- Certificate III in Civil Construction, or completion within 2 years of appointment.
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision, or completion within 2 years of achieving the Certificate III in Civil Construction qualification.
- WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent.
- Current ‘C’ Class Manual Driver’s Licence.
Desirable Qualification, skills andor experience
- Traffic Controller accreditation.
- Traffic Management Implementation accreditation in accordance with MUTCD.
- Safe Work Near Exposed Live Parts (SWNELP) (Ergon) training.
