The Senior Wellbeing Advisor role is responsible for driving wellbeing strategy and interventions for MACS staff across schools and offices. They will design, implement, and maintain wellbeing programs, ensuring alignment with the mission of Catholic education and the MACS Strategy. This role plays a crucial part in fostering mentally healthy and well staff and students by reducing the risks of mental health impacts and supporting personal wellbeing through proactive and supportive processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop and maintain MACS-wide Mental Health and Wellbeing framework, covering proactive improvement and responsive support mechanisms.
• Implement diverse mental health initiatives, maximizing employee benefit, engagement, and involvement.
• Lead and influence continuous improvement in health and wellbeing culture, reducing psychosocial risks.
• Support schools and school Principals in responding to issues impacting staff mental health, and work with schools to develop support strategies.
• Manage various mental health service providers and offer advice and support to schools and offices.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and consultations to enhance staff awareness and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, manage psychosocial risk approach, and monitor framework effectiveness, with regular reporting to MACS Executive and Board.

ABOUT YOU

• Demonstrated expertise in leading mental health and wellbeing strategies, preferably within an educational or similar setting.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic interventions to support employee mental health, fostering engagement and involvement.
• Ability to tailor mental health programs to accommodate the unique working environment of schools.
• Experience in analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of suppliers, programs, and initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building collaborative relationships and delivering engaging presentations and workshops.
