What will your new day look like?
- You will provide outstanding service that demonstrates Evolve Housing's values and makes a real difference to resident's lives by assisting with tenancy management.
- Proactively assist in the management of the portfolio through:
- Encouraging and undertaking resident consultation
- Managing and responding to tenant enquires, complaints and grievances.
- Assisting to conduct regular property inspections.
- Respond to and/or escalating anti-social behaviour and other breaches of tenancy condition.
- Ensure leasehold landlords comply with the terms of the tenancy agreement.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the compliance of property maintenance and repairs including preparation of Condition Reports.
- Under supervision, and as directed, assist the Housing Manager with the following tasks:
- Monitor rental and non-rental accounts including early intervention in arrears recovery to ensure sustainable tenancies.
- Preparation of Lease documentation and VCAT paperwork as required.
- Contacting potential applicants and renters to coordinate viewings of property and offers
- Ensure vacant properties are tenanted according to Evolve Vic Housing standards
- Ensure transferring tenancies are managed fairly and in accordance with Evolve Housing policy and procedures
- Establish and manage tenancies according to Evolve Housing policy and procedures and Resident Tenancy Act
- Undertake work and maintain records in line with internal and legislative requirement and observe relevant policies and procedures
- Attend the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) as required
- Contribute to Homes Vic and other compliance reporting requirements in a timely manner
- Carry out general administrative and reporting activities as required such as preparing letters, reports, etc.

Some important things you will need to begin this journey!
- Formal qualifications in social services and demonstrated experience in this field, complemented by experience and knowledge of the social and community housing sector (desirable)
- A thorough understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act and relevant work experience in the real estate sector.
- Proven commitment to delivering an excellent customer service experience and able to manage changing priorities.
- Demonstrated understanding of the confidentiality and privacy requirements of the role.
- Demonstrated application of effective and appropriate communication skills at a high level, including written skills, cultural sensitivity, listening and interviewing.
- Experience working with a culturally and linguistically diverse, and at times, challenging and at times complex customers.
- Possess a current Drivers License
- Willingness to obtain a National Criminal Record Check
- Willingness to obtain a NDIS check
