Silverchain has immediate opportunities for experienced and passionate carers to join our dedicated team in the position of Assistant in Nursing - on either a temporary contract or casual basis.Queensland has a brand new leadership team and are looking for incredible superstars to join them.We are seeking applicants with availability across 5 days between the hours of 7am-4pm. Exceptional candidates are sought who can demonstrate flexibility and commitment to the shifts on offer, to ensure continuity of services to our clients.Our Assistants in Nursing deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging their ability to participate in their own care to maintain their independence.Responsibilities can include skin care, toileting, general hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, and associated personal care activities. Support may also be required with general housekeeping, social support, transport and basic first aid. To be successful in this role, you will possess: Certificate III in Aged Care; Individual Support, or equivalent Experience delivering moderate and complex care, preferably within the community. Fantastic interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently. Effective interpersonal skills including ability to encourage and motivate clients. Reliability and commitment to deliver the highest standard of care. Effective English literacy skills. National Police Clearance (on commencement of employment and updated every three years per the Aged Care Act 1997). Current motor vehicle driver's licence (with no restrictions) Current Basic First Aid Certificate is desirable, but not mandatory Big benefits when you join Silverchain!
