About the Role
The purpose of this role is to support the finance team in:
- Day to day management of the Titanium investor management software
- Manage the financial integrity and report the financial results of various investment funds managed by the company and
- Various assistance with the company's workstreams and objectives
- Maintain the financial integrity of fund accounting ledgers.
- Reviewing workpaper reconciliations/schedules with the aim of standardising and preparing for year-end audit and reporting
- Prepare ad-hoc project reports to assist in decision making or business reporting
- The role will also be a direct support to the General Manager, in implementing & enforcing procedures, schedules, internal documentation and sign-off.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant teary qualification in accounting or related field essential
- Part CA/CPA qualified highly regarded
- Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Strong Excel skills and experienced in financial analysis.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, quality, accuracy, numeracy and presentation skills.
- Sound understanding of accounting and Australian taxation principals.
