Part-Time Assistant Manager - Cleaning Company
Location: Kogarah, NSW
Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient performance of our services. This is an office-based position, requiring strong organizational, communication, and managerial skills. The successful candidate will work closely with the company’s directors to ensure the smooth coordination of cleaning services and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client and Team Communication:
o Assist management process service requests and organize quote and service visits;
o Act as a liaison between clients, management, and the cleaning teams;
o Communicate with Care Managers to understand cleaning needs and explain scope of work.
· Inventory Management:
o Assist management monitor and manage cleaning supplies inventory and ensure teams are always stocked appropriately;
o Place orders for supplies in a timely manner;
o Communicate with team members to organize pick-up and drop-off of materials.
· Scheduling and Coordination:
o Assist management organize cleaning schedules and team roster;
o Coordinate with other team members and clients to ensure smooth operations;
o Adjust schedules based on client needs and staff availability.
· Data Management:
o Maintain accurate records of client and service information, staff documentation, cleaning schedules, and invoices;
o Create and upload service invoices to customer’s portal and use financial software to keep payments up to date;
o Utilize office software and tools for efficient data management.
· Administrative Support:
o Assist management in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures;
o Provide administrative support to the management team as needed.
· Problem Solving:
o Address and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner;
o Collaborate with the management team to develop solutions to challenges.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role;
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
· Proficiency in office software;
· Knowledge of cleaning industry practices and standards is a plus;
· Ability to work with a multicultural team and client base;
· Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm, 25 working hours in total.
