AddressElixir Coffee Roasting HQ is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team.
If you believe you are the right person with a desire to deliver exceptional service, achieve realistic goals and possess the ability to lead a large team with excellent communication and social skills, then we want you!
As a part of our management team, you will be responsible for our in store retail products including our range of coffee beans, coffee making equipment and barista accessories. Training will be available to enable you to gain the necessary product knowledge to best service our customers. Experience as a Barista and use of alternative brewing methods will be highly regarded.

In exchange, Elixir is looking for someone who loves being busy, doesn’t mind being hands on and has the following experience and skills:
- At least two years’ experience as a Assistant Manager or Supervisor of a team of approximately 15 staff
- Can confidently manage the day-to-day operations of its Café & Retail Store
- Has Barista experience & a strong understanding of coffee
- Can confidently hire, lead, train and mentor staff
- Can handle challenging conversations professionally and confidently
- Can create and maintain staff rosters to suit the needs of the Cafe
- Isn’t afraid of delivering to budgets and targets and managing operational costs
- Can maintain and deliver policies and procedures to ensure exceptional service and food safety practices
- Has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong time management skills
- Is flexible and isn’t afraid of a challenge
- Has a love and appreciation for customer service

- Saturday work is compulsory. NO SUNDAYS, NO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. NO NIGHTS.
