About the role
- This is a combined Assistant Principal / Religious Education Coordinator position with a teaching component
- Full time, contract position
- Commencing 29 April 2024 and concluding 6 February 2025 (3 terms)
- Secondments will be considered.
We are seeking an experienced school leader who can bring their leadership capabilities and contribute to our school's transformative journey. You may be an aspiring principal looking for a leadership opportunity, a recently retired school leader keen for a remote adventure or perhaps you are an experienced school leader with a desire to share your skills, knowledge and experience in a new setting, knowing that you are making a real difference.
Skills and ExperienceYou will need:
- NESA accreditation (if you don't have a NESA number, talk to NESA asap to arrange)
- WWCC (or a willingess to attain this)
- To be a qualified teacher with an appropriate degree eg. Bachelor of Education
- experience in developing & supporting positive relationships with staff, students, parents, clergy and the wider community
Advantageous:
- An understanding of rural, regional or remote communities
(Applicable for teachers new to the school)
- Upfront cash payment - $15,000
- Removalist allowance - Up to $5,000
- 50% Rental subsudy - Up to $15,000
- Retention payment - Year 1:$5,000 (Increases every year for 5 years)
- Geographical allowance - $3,300 per year
- Additional Western Leave - 3 days per year
