Job description
As an Assistant Property Portfolio Officer in the Residential Leasing Team, you will provide the property support function to the Residential Property Management Unit.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the residential leasing team by:
-Placing advertisements for rental properties
-Assist in conducting open house viewings or routine inspections, as required.
-Assist with new acquisitions including key collection and general condition photographs.
-Due diligence checks on tenancy applications and process incoming tenancy paperwork.
-Allocate maintenance works to appropriate tradespeople.
-Prepare and issuing various notices (ie. Entry Notice, Notices to Remedy Breach)
-Assist the whole Property Management Unit by preparing various documents in a timely and accurate manner.
-Provide primary point of contact for general telephone and email enquiries.
Timely monitoring of section email in-boxes, ensuring that emails are attended to in a timely manner by the appropriate person.
Requirements of the role
-Ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities efficiently and effectively.
-Keep abreast of legislative changes and safety standards that impact the property management function particularly with regard to rental properties.
-Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders (including internal and external T MR customers).
-Accurate and efficient administrative skills are essential.
-Actively participate in performance conversations to build and support a culture of performance improvement.
