About the role
We are on the lookout for passionate hospitality staff with a keen eye for detail. You will have a strong customer focus, with the ability, and knowledge of local produce, to ensure the customer experience in memorable.
You will utilise your skills and prior experience, to train other workers around you, and to focus on the continuous improvement of the restaurant and customer service.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including shift management, cash and stock handling, sales targets and overall presentation.
- Oversee Front of house, Cellar door & Bar Staff
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
- Have experience in rostering and approving timesheets accordingly.
- Implement processes and standards to ensure all front-of-house operations run effectively and seamlessly.
- Strong Customer Service focus, and the ability to build a strong raport with customers & Suppliers
- Have the ability to train staff, and a focus of creating a hands-on positive workplace culture
- Assist and coordinate the implementation of sales and promotions strategies including experiences and events
- Develop collaborative relationships with all stakeholders and Staff to ensure strong lines of communications.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Evenfall including external brand reputation
Skills & Experience
- Qualified in hospitality, Cellar Door & Events
- Extensive knowledge of wine
- Strong knowledge of Local Tasmania Produce
- Demonstrated experience with team management, development & leadership
- Current RSA
- Strong team leadership experience
- Accountability to work autonomously and actively improve organisational processes
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time and task management skills
