We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to play a key role in the success of this new age gastro pub concept. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing teams and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff management, customer service, and overall venue performance.
• Oversee stock inventory management, ensuring optimal levels of supplies while minimising wastage.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
• Ensure the highest standards of service are maintained across all aspects of the operation, from food and beverage to customer interactions.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the venue's profitability and reputation.
• Handle any customer inquiries, feedback, or complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
• Uphold compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, including health and safety standards.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of previous experience in an Assistant Manager role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven experience in stock inventory management and controlling costs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead large teams effectively.
• Strong wine knowledge is desireable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• RSA certification and other relevant qualifications preferred.
