About the Role
Exciting new position for an Assistant Rostering Coordinator to support the Radiologist Coordinator in the delivery of Radiologist support services across our Capital Radiology clinics.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and exposure to the Radiology field. You will learn and develop by working alongside the highly experienced Radiologist Coordinator out of our Werribee clinic, as well as expanding and developing your leadership skills by managing the Medical Typists.
Key responsibilities:
- Rostering development, coordination and support
- Problem solving associated with rostering, annual leave and unplanned absenteeism in an efficient manner to ensure adequate coverage
- Administration associated with onboarding, hours and leave
- Address problems raised by the Radiologists and finding suitable and timely solutions
- Managing the Medical Typist teams both onshore and offshore, and ensure appropriate resourcing is in place to deliver timely reports
- Be responsible for driving a culture among the Typist team to deliver an exceptional and timely service to our Radiologists and clinics and troubleshooting issues where necessary
You Will Have
- Competent use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Spreadsheets
- Superior typing skills and the ability to type at a swift pace
- Ability to take initiative, be proactive and problem-solve efficiently
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills are essential
- Ability to effectively liaise with a range of internal stakeholders demonstrating strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior leadership experience is strongly desired
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Experience within the Health industry, particularly having exposure to medical practitioners
- Experience with Karisma and/or Comrad
