Rate: $59.39 per hour + Super, 35 hours per week

About the Role:
The Assistant Technical Advisor sits within the specialist area of chemicals, pesticides and the regulation of dangerous goods. This role provides technical support services on chemicals, pesticides and dangerous goods, including compliance work and advice to protect the community and environment.
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the legislative and policy frameworks for pollution control, especially in relation to pesticides, chemicals and/or dangerous goods
- Proven ability to write and prepare material such as: emails, letters and reports, that is well structured
- Proficient in relevant systems such as: MS Suite
- Strong ability to clearly explain and present ideas verbally and in writing based on research and analysis of information, including scientific information and data
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant working experience in: Chemicals, Pesticides or Dangerous Goods
