Your career at NAB is about more than money, it's about serving our customers well and helping our communities prosper. We are looking for a passionate, pragmatic, execution focused Associate Director to join the Regulatory Enablement and Delivery team in Personal Bank.
You will partner with Domains and SMEs to ensure regulatory commitments are delivered in a timely and effective manner with trust and confidence. You will leverage regulatory reports and notices to ensure insights are critically analysed and shared to support getting/making it right with continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
Research capability to proactively identify regulatory needs and objectives
Experience in writing Board committee papers and regulatory submissions
Experience in designing and implementing processes to support regulatory compliance
Commercially minded with experience working with businesses in solving regulatory challenges
An awesome can-do attitude, no task is too small or too big
Exceptional interpersonal skills that see you quickly build strong relationships across all levels
A deep sense of curiosity and the willingness to seek out the information and knowledge
Experience working independently on projects and delivering results to business at large
Attention to detail and the ability to engage and ask questions to obtain the right outcome
Working knowledge on Banking Code, regulatory landscape, and business operations
What you'll be doing
Support delivery of regulatory submissions in a timely and effective manner for material Regulatory Notices, Requests, and Investigations
Work closely with senior stakeholders across Domains and provide guidance and project management support where required
Support delivery assessment and analysis of business impacts on regulatory consultations, changes, and reports
Support delivery of regulatory insight and regular reporting to drive learning and enable businesses in demonstrating and operationalising compliance
Maintain strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements across our businesses
Continue to improve with clear alignment to support business objectives and key results
Engage with and influence relevant stakeholders to improve our control environment and business practices to meet changing community and regulatory expectations
Proactively shift the way we approach our Regulatory agenda moving forward
