Financial Lines Brisbane 

Our Brisbane Financial Lines team specialise in professional indemnity and D&O insurance for clients ranging from financial institutions to design and construction professionals including accountants and tax agents to engineers, as well as healthcare providers like doctors and surgeons.  Learning from, and working with, Partners recognised as a leading lawyers in Professional Indemnity for Queensland and in Insurance, you will work across professional indemnity, management liability and D&O, both in coverage and defence, including acting for directors and officers in class actions, liquidator’s claims, 
and complex liability and/or quantum issues. 

Who you are

• A qualified lawyer with 2+ years post qualification experience.
• Experience in a general commercial litigation or similar insurance practice.
• Proactive approach to all matters, focusing on delivering pragmatic and cost-effective outcomes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to conduct thorough and accurate legal research.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex legal problems.
• Ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Keen eye for detail, which is essential for reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and spotting potential issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong focus on client service, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Flexibility and openness to change, with the ability to adapt to new situations and challenges.
