A new opportunity has been created within a reputable Financial Planning Practice who have been experiencing growth organically and through acquisition. With locations in Qld and NSW, they are seeking to appoint an entry level Financial Planner or Senior Assoicate Planner who has ideally recently completed or ready to undertake their Provisional Year to take the next step into becoming a Financial Planner.
Working closely with the Senior Planner, we are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual who is technically proficient and comfortable conversing and contributing when in client meetings to eventually take ownership of a client portfolio. It is a close team environment and you will be well supported administratively along with Paraplanning support.
The position will include:
- Attending client meetings, complete fact find information and research and develop the appropriate technical strategy tailored to your clients requirements.
- Complete and manage ongoing client reviews.
- Provide financial advice across all areas including Superannuation & Retirement planning, Insurances, Wealth Creation utilizing an extensive APL.
- Review SoA & RoA documentation for presentation to the client.
- Manage existing client relationships whilst meeting with new clients.
- Liaise with Paraplanning team, Fund Managers and Insurance providers.
- Ensure your ongoing training requirements are maintained for CPD Points.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a keen desire to learn and be successful. You will have a passion for financial planning and ensuring the best outcomes for your client.
We require:
- Close completion of the relevant Tertiary qualification ideally with successful completion of the FASEA exam.
- Completed or prepared to commence the PY program.
- Well developed technical skills across all areas of advice.
- Self-managed and able to meet agreed objectives
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Team Player and able to work autonomously.
- Knowledge of Xplan desirable but not essential.
