The Role:

The Kilmore District Hospital campus is an integral part of our network, dedicated to providing high-quality maternity services to expectant low risk mothers and families in the Kilmore and surrounding region.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Associate Maternity Unit Manager to join our dynamic Maternity Services team at the Kilmore District Hospital campus. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing comprehensive and patient-centered care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal phases.
This position is fixed term part time 48 hours per forntight until 29 April 2024. Job share will be considered. There may be opportunities to extend.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience as a Registered Midwife, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of current maternity care practices and industry trends
