The Opportunity
We want you to join our energised team as an Associate Product Manager based in Preston (full time on site). Working on all aspects of product management and Sales Management including, new product development, existing portfolio administration, customer calls and account management.
The successful person needs to be proficient in using MS office software and business management systems, have excellent communication and business, marketing or engineering skills. You need to be warm and approachable, have a hunger and passion for winning and be a team player.
You will be responsible for building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the CIGWELD Sales & Customer Service teams, suppliers, factory project managers and customers.
Your focus will be to deliver increased and sustained value to the business by:
- Assisting with project management of the Healthcare and Specialty Gas portfolio - including existing products and the development and launch of new products
- Providing Brand/Marketing support including technical product/spec information & preparation, pricing, promotion ideas, and policies for distribution.
- Providing product support to customer service,
- Working closely with the Specialty Gas Sales Manager to develop the Healthcare and Specialty gas business in the Southern Region by calling on existing accounts and creating relationships with new customers.
The Candidate
You are a high energy and dedicated individual who enjoys working closely with people and building rapport in a team environment. You will be qualified in Engineering and/or Business/Marketing. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint. The ability to adapt and work in both a proactive and responsive capacity is essential. Experience with Specialty Gases or in the Healthcare Industry would be beneficial but not essential.
