About the Role
This role sits in the ABC's Platforms & Hosting Team and will act as the first point of contact for enquiries associated with Windows Server platforms that come to the team. Reporting to the Windows Server Team Lead, the role will involve;
- Ticket Management (ITIL) using ServiceNow and triaging of enquiries and requests from both internal and external clients.
- Assisting clients to resolve moderately complex requests and enquiries regarding Windows Server & VMware vSphere platforms.
- Assisting with improving system reliability, quality, and security through monitoring, reporting and fault resolution on supported platforms.
About You
You will thrive on delivering a high-quality service that goes above and beyond your clients' expectations. You will be proactive, and a keen learner and you will also have;
- Experience and knowledge of Windows Server 2016 R2 up to and including Windows Server 2022, VMware vSphere v6.5 up to v7 and PowerShell scripting language.
- Proficient problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and solve moderately complex technical problems.
- Experience in the support and administration of large-scale Windows Server environments.
