As an advisory committee to Council, its role is to assist Council in fulfilling its responsibilities in relation to governance, risk and assurance and financial reporting. The Committee comprises three Independent Members and two Councillors.This position will complement existing committee strengths, creating a diverse skill set. Council is seeking expressions of interest from individuals with specialist knowledge and professional qualifications to serve as an Independent Member of Council’s Audit and Risk Committee.
