The Role
Toll Tomago workshop have an exciting opportunity for a Light Vehicle Automotive Mechanic that has the desire to be supported through the process of Up Skilling to become a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
Reporting to the workshop Team Leader, you will learn all facets of the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade in a safe, well-structured manner. Working for Toll isn't just a job but a career which can offer so much more.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment to Toll, industry and statutory requirements
- Complete documentation, paperwork and in-system data as required for daily duties
- Ensure workplace and larger site is kept in a clean, tidy and functional environment
- Ensure adherence to complete process of work tasks including but not limited to driver & workshop requisitions, work order management, handovers & liaising with stores personnel
- Requirement to complete additional duties within capabilities and training as directed by supervisor (Leading Hand) and/or management
- All general servicing tasks with supervision
- To maintain quality and urgency in the work performed
- Embrace, understand and utilise safe work and lockout practices and procedures as per depot/workshop requirements. (Ensure isolation procedures are strictly adhered to)
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar fleet workshop-based role
- Available to work Monday to Friday and Saturdays (as required)
- Possess a Certificate 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics
- Open Motor vehicle license required
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment
