Join our vibrant Venue Management team and be a crucial part of delivering exceptional technical services to our clients and hirers. As an AV Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring high-end technical production service delivery for events held in the Sydney Town Hall and other City of Sydney commercial venues.
Key Responsibilities:
deliver expert audio, lighting, and vision services for concerts and events, coordinating resources and individuals to ensure seamless operations
manage and prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods and interruptions to meet deadlines
set up, operate, and pack down audio, vision, and lighting systems for events, conferences, and presentations
ensure compliance with legislative, industrial, and Work Health and Safety requirements in all duties performed.
Essential Criteria:
minimum 3 years of professional technical experience in live production, corporate, or events industry
proficiency in live audio mixing, vision systems operation, and/or lighting operation for events
experience in live streaming of events and proficiency in presentation software such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Qlab
ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations effectively
aptitude for quick thinking and problem-solving of technical issues in a high-pressure environment
agility and ability to undertake physical work, including working at heights and in confined spaces if necessary
availability to work within a flexible 24-hour, 7-day roster within the Venue Management Unit.
