Position Overview:
As the Audio Visual (AV) Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end AV projects for new corporate buildings. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, engage vendors, and ensure the successful delivery of AV systems that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute AV projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Engage and manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to procure AV equipment and services.
- Conduct site surveys, develop project scopes, and create detailed project plans and schedules.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of AV systems, ensuring they meet technical specifications and user requirements.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and management, addressing any issues or concerns that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing AV projects, preferably within government or large corporate environments.
- Strong understanding of AV technologies, including audio systems, video conferencing equipment, digital signage, and control systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources effectively, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and experience negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
