The Role & The Team:

As the Aviation Safety Liaison Specialist, the successful applicant will undertake a range of tasks in support of Aviation Safety Liaison and engagement activities with customers and aviation stakeholders. Activities will include document and record management; coordination of deliverables; coordination of requests for safety information; and liaison with customers on Aviation Safety engagement activities in consultation across the organisation. You will also provide support across safety communications and learning activities.

The Person

The successful applicant will have:

• Proven and demonstrated experience in safety coordination preferably with the aviation industry.
• A Certification in Safety or a related field desirable.
• Highly developed skills of coordination, scheduling, record management and organisation to plan activities, identify resources to accomplish tasks and manage time effectively.
• Effective data skills to break information into component parts, patterns and relationships while probing for further information to a problem.
• Effective verbal communication skills to speak clear and fluently while expressing opinions and information.
• Effective written communication skills which structures information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and liaise with diverse stakeholders to meet customer needs and satisfaction.
