The Organisation
Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (AVM) operates Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC), Coopers Stadium (CS) and The Drive.
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic hospitality professional to join the AVM Bar team at the ACC, AEC, CS and The Drive as an AVM Bar Team Leader.

We are searching for the hero of this world, willing to give up their weekends and nights to serve the masses. Someone who has experience behind the bar and feel they have the passion, motivation and willingness to learn and be an asset to our bar crew.

Duties would include:
- Working the bars across all 4 venues: Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Coopers Stadium and The Drive.
- General bar duties – set up and pack down for future & current events.
- Managing staff and events with over 600 delegates.
- Training and mentoring new staff.
- Keg and Gas cylinder knowledge.
- Stock control and stock takes.
- Troubleshooting/problem solving and being proactive.
- Maintaining a great repour with the team and senior management.
- Cleaning beer lines.
- End of shift reporting and paperwork.
- General wine, beer, spirit and cocktail knowledge.
- H&L knowledge.
What will you bring to AVM:
- Must be available nights, weekends and key dates: concerts & football etc
- You must be available for training sessions as required
- Providing the BEST customer service experience
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Ability to mentor staff.
- Positive, can do attitude
- Quick thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Have extensive alcohol knowledge
- You have a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and hold a Responsible Person badge.
