The team within our large Federal Government clients' department is responsible for designing, building, and supporting integrations between on-premises and cloud-based enterprise applications, utilising Microsoft Azure tools such as Azure APIM, Azure Service Bus and Azure Data Factory. The team provides ongoing support, performance monitoring and troubleshooting, while also collaborating with other software development teams to design and build APIs and data pipelines supporting multiple modernisation projects.
They are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join the Enterprise Integration Team to ensuring the efficient, automated, and reliable deployment of integration solutions across the Departments' diverse landscape of enterprise applications. Their Duties will include:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes for integration solutions while maintaining a keen focus on efficiency and reliability.
- Oversee the configuration and management of development, testing, and production environments, ensuring accurate replication of real-world conditions for rigorous integration testing.
- Apply advanced scripting and automation skills using tools like PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, and YAML to efficiency and reliability of deployments.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and security of integration solutions. Configure alerting systems to facilitate proactive issue resolution.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipeline to enhance software quality and reliability, including security testing practices, Static Application
- Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), to ensure the integrity of integration solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment processes, configurations, and best practices, facilitating knowledge sharing and future reference.
