Opportunity:
We are currently seeking Expression of Interest from Azure Solution Architects passionate about designing secure, stable, and innovative technology environments. Our roles typically range from short-term (6 months or more) to long-term (12 months or more) engagements.
Compensation:
We estimate average rates for Azure Solution Architects between $130-$170 per hour inclusive of superannuation. However, your compensation package will be competitive, reflective of your skills and experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for Azure Solution Architects may vary but generally include:
- Creating a solution vision, gathering needs and requirements from stakeholders.
- Collaborating with other architects to develop a top-down services functional view for integrated solution delivery.
- Working with project teams to transform the solution architecture and design into a deliverable solution.
- Defining non-functional requirements, including security, capacity, performance, and cross-functional concerns.
- Developing complex engineering solutions across multiple hosting platforms, including on-premises and cloud environments.
- Developing and contributing to the strategy and management of virtual infrastructure elements across various hosting platform.
The skills and experience you will be ideally required to possess include:
- Expertise in designing and migrating in-house systems to the Azure cloud, including Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange, and virtual desktop infrastructure.
- Experience in developing Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of Azure virtual network configuration and hybrid network architectures.
- Familiar with cyber security controls, such as ISM, OWASP, and the Essential 8.
- Detailed technical knowledge of the Azure cloud platform.
- Ability to work independently, build productive relationships, and effectively liaise with stakeholders.
Most of these roles are based in Canberra, ACT. However, we also offer opportunities across Australia, including remote and hybrid working arrangements. We welcome candidates from all locations to apply.
