Procurement Specialist - Tender LeadGoulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW provides more than 39,000 services to about 25,000 customers in its operating region.GMW have an exciting opportunity for a “hands on” Tender Lead to support staff as a Procurement Specialist within the Commercial Team. About the RoleTender Leads engage with staff at all levels across the organisation and are exposed to the many different functions that GMW deliver.The Procurement Specialist role is focused on leading tender procurement processes including planning, market approach and contract management. The Tender Lead ensures compliance with relevant legislation, internal procurement policies and procedures and delivers recommendations that demonstrate value for money and integrity. What do you need?Experience in procurement, construction, or commercial fields. This could include tendering, contract administration, project management, subject matter expertise or drafting commercial documents. Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver timelines, which will sometimes include short deadlines.Ability to develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with internal clients, suppliers, and staff to ensure procurement services are responsive to current and future needs.Willing to contribute to a continuous improvement and collaborative team culture.
