Banking Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist clients with account-related transactions, inquiries, and account maintenance.
Transaction Processing:
- Process various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with banking policies and procedures.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organised records of customer transactions and account activities.
- Assist in preparing and updating customer account documentation.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the bank's products and services to effectively assist customers in choosing the best options for their financial needs.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve team goals and uphold a positive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in banking or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and banking software.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in finance or related fields is a plus.
Remuneration & Future Outlook
The remuneration package will be discussed with individual candidates and will vary depending on experience.
This is an entry level role, however there are opportunities to progress to work in our insurance brokerage business for the right candidate.
