About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic administration professionals to provide administrative support to lawyers and paralegals in our Banking & Finance practice group.
The Banking and Finance team maintains a highly skilled practice that produces loan and security documentation for private and institutional lenders across Australia and is one of the largest in the country.
Responsibilities in this position may include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of documents and correspondence
- File maintenance – opening, closing and archiving files (electronic and physical filing)
- General administrative support to multiple authors
- Attending to telephone calls and enquiries (incoming and outgoing)
- Preparing bills, cheque requisitions and other accounts related matters
- Maintaining databases and contact registers
- General administration including photocopying, scanning, filing, archiving, mail and courier management
- Monitoring routine matter processes and anticipating/prompting key actions
This a 12 month maximum term contract position.
About you
To be considered for this role, you must:
- be available to work full time
- have administration experience in an office environment or relevant transferrable experience/skills
- Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage competing priorities and time constraints practically and effectively
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- a collaborative approach, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team
