Ko wai koe | About you
- You have experience in construction industry training / vocational training initially focused on carpentry trades
- You have well developed relationships with construction industry employers who train apprentices
- You live: He tangata, he tangata, he tangata. (It is the people, it is the people, it is the people).
- You enjoy sharing your passion for the construction industry
- You have advanced written and verbal communication skills
- You can organise your time with efficacy
- You have an ability to work and learn in the digital environment
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role
As a Builders Academy NZ Workplace Apprenticeship Educator, you will provide coaching and mentoring to employers and apprentices throughout New Zealand.
- A focus on support through frequent, apprentice and learning environment focused site visits
- Facilitating an evening classes in preparation for assessment as required
- Managing a database that gives you time to care for construction people and help them complete their carpentry qualifications and achieve their career goals.
