Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a positive and efficient work environment for our staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures.
- Train, mentor, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment, storage areas, and seating areas.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability while controlling costs.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws at all times.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement promotional activities and special events.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, control costs, and drive sales.
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- TIPS or similar certification is a plus.
